4th Sabungkhok Cup YUC beat KNC 2-1, SDC hold YDCL

Imphal, January 08 2019: YUC, Yaingangpokpi scaled a 2-1 win over KNC, Kanghuching while SDC, Tiger Camp played out a 1-1 draw with YDCL, Pungdongbam in today's league matches of the 4th Sabungkhok Cup 2019 being organise by Youth and Student Welfare Club, Sabungkhok at Sabungkhok Kangjeibung since January 5 featuring 24 teams clubbed into 8 groups.

The first match of the day saw KNC take a 1-0 lead with a 13 th minute strike from Amarjit but K Lanchenba of YUC levelled the scoreline in the 17th minute with a well taken shot before striking his second to hand his team a comeback 2-1 win.

In the second match of the day, SDC took off the game on a flying note with Jakir Khan scoring the opener early in the second minute but Ch Jayenta of YDCL found the equaliser in the 32nd minute to deny them from taking all three points.
