Imphal, July 07 2022: 143 Bn CRPF emerged doubles champions of the Inter Group Centre and Battalion (Adm/Ops) Badminton Tournament-2022 of Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF which was hosted by CRPF, Langjing Imphal from July 4 till yesterday.

A total of 12 teams of Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF namely- GC Imphal, 32 Bn, 69 Bn, 86 Bn, 87 Bn, 109 Bn, 143 Bn, 173 Bn and others participated in the tournament organised in knock-out format said PRO of GC CRPF, Imphal in a press statement.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was graced by, Manish Kumar Agrawal, IG, Manipur and Nagaland Sector as chief guest and Madan Kumar, DIGP, GC CRPF, Imphal as co-guest in the presence of other senior officers, SOs and jawans, it said.

143 Bn CRPF beat 87 Bn CRPF to secure the doubles title in the final while the singles title went to GC Imphal after the unit beat 32 Bn in the final, it said.
