Chassad Youth Club lifts Volleyball trophy

Imphal, January 03 2014 : 44 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a volley ball tournament at Kamjong village in Ukhrul district on January 1 and 2 .

A total of six teams from Kamjong and adjoining villages participated in the tournament.

The tournament was organised for both boys and girls teams.

The final match was played between Chassad Youth Club and Kamjong Youth Club on 02 Jan 14.Chassad Youth Club team managed to bag the tournament trophy.

The tournament received an overwhelming response since it was organised during the New Year celebrations.

Over 550 people witnessed the event, according to a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S) .
