Mr Kangleipak Contest 2024 to be held in Oct

Imphal, July 31 2024: Manipur Amateur Body Builders Association (MABBA) is all set to organise Mr Kangleipak Contest 2024 in October.

Announcing this at a media briefing held at KBB Gym, Tera Sapam Leirak, on Wednesday, MABBA general secretary Sapam Joychandra informed that the 14th Mr Kangleipak Contest 2024 will be held on October 27, adding that the Mr Kangleipak Contest 2023 was cancelled due to the unrest in the state.

The 14th Mr Kangleipak Contest 2024, being sponsored by the Ningthemcha ningol Chongtham Sanatombi Devi Memorial Trust, will feature sub-junior, junior, senior, master open, men's physique and classic physique open events, with additional contests for short, tall and super-tall categories, Joychandra further informed.

The MABBA general secretary also announced that a selection trial for state bodybuilders for the upcoming Asian Bodybuilding Championship 2024 will be conducted soon.

Attending the press briefing alongside Joychandra were MABBA vice-president Dr RK Harshyam, treasurer Randhir Thiyam, joint secretary Tongbram Moramba, and executive member L BK .
