AR organises friendly volleyball match

Imphal, July 29 2018: Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a friendly Volleyball Match for the youth at Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base, Imphal West District today with the aim of promoting sports in the region, said a press release issued by IGAR (S) .

The match was played between the Mayang Imphal, Khuman Youth Association team and troops of the Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base.

The aim of this event was to build good rapport and create awareness among the youths regarding the upcoming Army recruitment rally in October, the statement further said.

The event was witnessed by many sports enthusiasts of the region who also appreciated the AR efforts.
