Imphal, March 27 2021: The 10th Kanglei Mega Sports Festival 2021 began today under the theme "Leave Drugs, Live Life" at Mapal Kangjeibung in the presence of Langthabal AC MLA Karam Shyam.

The inaugural function organised by Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) was also attended by KSA president N Chetan.

Speaking as the chief guest of the function, Karam Shyam said that organising such a festival is a good initiative.

The MLA also urged the youths, especially students not to abuse drugs and contribute to building a good society.

He expressed a desire for the students' organisations to work for the welfare of the students and not involved in politics.

The festival will see competitions on events such as Thang-ta; Kang; football etc.
