SAI dominates in 26th Junior State Archery Championship

Sports Authority of India dominated today's matches of the 26th Junior State Archery Championship, 2011 held at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal by winning most of the medals in all the events.
A Surmila of SAI won gold medal in Girls' 70 metres Recurve by scoring 266 points.
L Devala and A Simala of VAA won the silver and bronze medals of the event by securing 233 and 232 points respectively.
In Girls' 60 metre Recurve, A Surmila of SAI won the gold medal after securing 281 points while P Baby of SAI and A Simala of VAA won the silver and bronze by scoring 279 and 268 points respectively.
P Baby of SAI scored 278 points in Girls' 50 metre Recurve to win the gold medal while the silver and bronze medals went to L Devala of VAA and A Surmila of SAI who scored 259 and 255 (10-3) points respectively.
A Simala of VAA won gold in Girls 30 metre recurve with 313 (10-8, X-4) while L Devala of VAA with 313 (10-2, X-4) and A Surmila of SAI with 308 points won the silver and bronze respectively.
In Boys' 90 metre Recurve L Ramananda of SAI won gold by scoring 279 points while S Premkumar of SAI and H Robert of YAC won the silver and bronze with 253 and 239 points respectively.
L Ramananda of SAI also won gold in Boys' 70 metre Recurve round with 302 points.
S Premkumar of SAI also won the silver in the event with 298 points while the bronze went to N Naoba of VAA who secured 286 points.
SAI players displaying its dominance swept all the medals in Boys' 50 metre Recurve with S Premkumar, L Ramananda and H Rihikumar winning the gold, silver and bronze respectively who scored 301, 300 and 288 points respectively.
SAI also swept all the medals in Boys' 30 metre Recurve.
S Premkumar won the gold with 338 points.
L Ramananda and A Joychandra who secured 336 and 325 points respectively were awarded the silver and bronze.
In Girls' Olympic round Individual Compound, RK Satyapriya of VAA won gold while A Meenaka and Th Romila of VAA won the silver and bronze medals respectively.
O Kenedy of AAC won gold in Boys' Olympic Round Individual Compound while the silver and bronze medals went to Kh Robert and K Krishnakanta of ESU respectively.
K Pravahini of VAA won gold medal in Girls' 50 metre Indian Round while S Nirmala and Th Usharani of YAC won the silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Girls' 30 metre Indian Round, S Jenifer of YAC was awarded the gold medal while the silver and bronze medals went to Th Usharani of YAC and K Pravahini of VAA respectively.
A Suraj of VAA won gold in Boys' 50 metre Indian round while the silver and bronze medals went to N Arjun of SICA and P Somen of ARAC.
A Suraj also won gold in Boys' 30 metre Indian Round while Y Ajit and P Somen of ARAC won the silver and bronze medals respectively.
