Imphal, April 20 2022: All Manipur Traditional Belt Wrestling Association (AMTBWA) on Wednesday selected a state team for the Chief Minister Trophy 1st AITWPF Federation Cup National Wrestling and Pankration Championship 2022 to be held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Raipur, Chhattisgarh from May 12-15.The belt wrestlers were selected after the AMTBWA conducted a selection trial conducted at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex on Wednesday.

AMTBWA's president Th Norendro, technical director Th Udoichand, secretary general Ch Ibohal and L Gokulchangdra, coach of Manipur Police Sports Club were present during the selection trial, AMTBWA informed.
