YWC-M decimate SYPA 10-1 in IW 2nd Divn League

Imphal, October 18 2019: M Kamesh, Tongminsei and Sonjalen Haokip shone as YWC, Malom notched up an emphatic 10-1 win at its home ground against SYPA, Sekmai in the 6th match of the ongoing 9th K Karnajit Memorial Second Division League organised by Imphal West District Football Association.

L Ningthouba handed SYPA the breakthrough in the 14th minute of the match but YWC came out all guns blazing to lead the first half by 3-1 goals before the 10-1 demolition at the end.

Tongminsei drew level for YWC in the 30th minute before adding another in the 52nd minute of the match while M Kamesh hit his first in the 36th minute before pumping in three more goals in the 62th, 70th and 76th minutes as SYPA defence were left in tatters with a barrage of shots by YWC forwards.

Khaigunhao (40+2'), Sonjalen Haokip (56', 78') and Hivi Kiba (64') also made their names on the scoresheet in the YWC's landslide win.
