Imphal, July 18 2022: Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) on Monday thanked chief minister N Biren Singh for enhancing diet allowance of sportspersons of the state from Rs 200 to Rs 500 per day.

The MOA also commended the Chief Minister for giving his approval in principle to the association's proposal along with tentative budget for organising Manipur Olympic Games 2022 and for participation in the 36th National games 2022 at Gujarat from September 27 to October 10 and the 2nd North East Olympic Ganics 2022 at Shillong from October 30 to November 6 .
