MLKTCS pays tribute to State's patriots

Imphal, August 13 2022: Mangang, Luwang, Khuman Thang-Ta and Cultural Sindamsang (MLKTCS) observed "Patriots' Day" at its Brahmapur Mangjil Mamang office this morning.

Sintakpural (coaches/teachers) and students of the Thang-Ta institution paid floral tributes to the photos of Bir Tikendrajit, Thangal General and other heroes who stood up against the British and sacrificed their lives for the sake of Motherland at the occasion.

The students also offered "Thanggi Thougalon/salute" to the heroes, said a release issued by MLKTCS.

The need to follow in the footsteps of the brave forefathers and importance of learning the perseverance and dedication towards achieving a unified and prosperous society were also stressed during the observation programme, it added.
