YAS set to launch regular coaching centre for football

Imphal, November 12 2021: The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) is set to launch its regular coaching centre (RCC) for football at the Langjing Achouba artificial football turf on November 14.Informing this, YAS Director, in a statement called up aspiring football players who have applied for the coaching to report on the launch day by 7 am.

With the launch and relaunch of regular coaching at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex and other facilities, the Department aims to strengthen its commitment towards grooming Manipur's next general of sports stars, the statement said.

The Department's top coaches will spearhead the coaching and share their techniques, tips, secrets and strategies with the launch of the football RCC at Langjing Achouba artificial football turf, it said while adding that the initiative will help young football enthusiasts to better their performance.
