2nd Division I-league 2015 : NEROCA FC set for battle with Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata on home ground

Imphal, December 11 2015 : As part of the ongoing second Division I-League Eastern Conference, NEROCA FC will meet Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata on Saturday at the Main Stadium Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

On the eve of the clash, the visiting team members are all geared for a memorable fight with the home team NEROCA FC.

Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata coach Subrata Bhattacharya on Friday exuded confidence that his boys will perform well on Saturday.

He however felt that the match would be a "fighting" match.

It may be recalled that NEROCA FC Manipur beat Gangtok Himalayan Sporting Club (GHSC) in the latter's home game in the Second Division I-League on December 5 in Gangtok.

With the win, NEROCA FC jumped to top of the I-League Second Division, Group A: Eastern Conference A chart with 7 points followed by Mohammedan SC and GHSC.

NEROCA FC first played against Hyderabad FC followed by a match against Guwahati FC on 28 in Guwahati.

On December 12, NEROCA FC will face Guwahati again in home ground.

NEROCA FC will meet Gangtok Himalayan SC again in Khuman Lampak on January 2, 2015.Thereafter, Manipur's NEROCA FC will have two more encounters in Hyderabad and Kolkatta against Fateh Hyderabad and Mohammedan SC on January 9 and 16 respectively.
