Imphal, December 10 2019: Manipur Arm-Wrestling Association is set to organise the 3 8th (Men, Women, Master and Junior) State Arm Wrestling Championship 2020 (Winter Session) from January 18 to 20, 2020 at Kongpal Iranpham Thongkhong Community Hall.

Weigh in and sorting will be done on January 17,2020, said apress release of the association.

The association also informed that the selection of the 44th National Arm Wrestling Championship 2020 will be made on the basis of the performances of the athletes both in the Summer and Winter State Championships.

Athletes who do not participate in both the State championships will not be eligible for National team trial selection, the release continued.

The association also advised the State athletes to practise hard as the Indian Arm Wrestling Federation is biding to host the Asian Arm Wrestling Championship 2020 in India.
