Imphal, November 10 2024: The Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association (HLMTTCA), Irilbung has condoled the sudden demise of cultural and theatre activist Ningombam Jadumani.

The works and endless contributions of the late cultural activist towards the association was fondly recalled during a condolence meeting convened in the presence of HLMTTCA's teachers, students and staff, said HLMTTCA in a condolence note.

Jadumani was not only a Thang-Ta activist but was also actively involved in theatre and drama.

For his contributions, he was also conferred Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, HLMTTCA noted.

As a mark of respect to late cultural and theatre activist, the gathering also observed two minute silence and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace, the condolence note added.
