M Ceiya and A Monika win bronze at Rowing Nationals

Imphal, September 10 2019: The pair of Mayengbam Ceiya Devi from Wabagai Tera Urak and A Monika Devi from Moirang Khunou, Khongnangkhong had won a bronze medal for Manipur at the 4th Indoor National Rowing Championship held recently at Patna, Bihar from September 7 to 8.The pair won the bronze medal finishing third in the Women Double Scull 2000 m event wherein they clocked 8 minutes 17.40 seconds.

Odisha's Manjula Xess and Promila Prova Minz reached home in 7:57.70 to win the gold medal in this event while West Bengal pair of Mahima Dey and Shramana Shaha took 8:09.00 to finish second.

The State team were led by Narengbam Lakhsmi Devi as coach and Athokpam Kirankumar Singh as manager.
