AITA Championship Series : Iraj Shaw vs Enrich Patar in U-14 boys singles final

Imphal, May 08 2024: Iraj Shaw of West Bengal will face off against Enrich Patar of Assam in the AITA Championship Series U-14 boys singles final here at Lamphel Court of Imphal District Tennis Association tomorrow.

Iraj Shaw made his way into the final with a comfortable 6-3, 6-3 win over Udiit Praghan of Tamil Nadu in the first semi-final match this morning.

In another semi-final match, Enrich Patar sealed a hard fought 6-4, 7-5 win over Nomaan Akhtar of West Bengal to set up the final date with Iraj Shaw.

The day also saw Enrich Patar making his way to the U-16 boys singles final with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Nishant Bajaj of West Bengal in the first semi-final match.

Earlier in a quarter final clash, Nomaan Akhtar set up a semi-final date with Aaditya Sinha of Meghalaya by defeating Manipur's Keithellakpam Yohenba 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 .

U-16 Boys Doubles

Iraj Shaw and Nishaant Bajaj secured their place in the U-16 boys doubles final today without breaking any sweat as they eased to a 6-0, 6-0 win over the pair of Thoudam Singh and Udiit Praghan in a semi-final clash.
