LFC overwhelm TYA in Bpr 1st Div League

Imphal, January 08 2019: LFC, Ngaikhong blanked TYC, Thinungei 3-0 in a Group A league match of the 5th H Pishak Memorial 1st Division Football League being organised under the supervision of District Sports Association, Bishnupur at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

Both LFC and TYC had a sterile first half and the game pick up the pace in the second half with L Lanchenba finding the target in the 44th minute to give LFC a 1-0 lead.

The goal provided much confidence to the Ngaikhong side and it was in the 55th minute that P Hitler extended the lead to 2-0 and piled up pressure on TYC.

Priyason then rounded off the scoring during the stoppage time (60+3) and gave LFC a comfortable 3-0 win.

KRFC will face YWO in a Group B league match of the tournament at 3 pm .
