Lamnganba, Ph Rohendro steer CYCLONE to 10 wicket win

Imphal, January 07 2022: Lamnganba and Ph Rohendro scored half centuries to guide CYCLONE to 10 wicket win over OSCAR in 9th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament Group B opening match at Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary Ground today.

OSCAR won the toss and chose to bat first, but could collect a total of 117 runs for 6 in 20 overs with Holendro (25) and Brojen (39) being the significant contributors.

The total, however, proved too small for the Thangmeiband team as Lamnganba (51) and Ph Dorendro (50) struck half centuries to guide CYCLONE to a 10 wicket victory.

Earlier, Robindro of Cyclone enjoyed a three wicket haul as Romen, Sudhir and Robindro shared a wicket apiece.

YUCC will play NAPSA tomorrow in the next Group B league match.
