Tule reaches semis at 5th India-Bhutan Friendship Tennis Tournament

Imphal, July 05 2019:
Manipur's Tule Thongbam have secured last four round berth at the 5th India-Bhutan Friendship Tennis Tournament being held at Bhutan National Tennis Centre, Changlimithang, Thimphu.
Tule Thongbam who is taking part in the above 45 years singles event outshone Nindup Dorjee 6-2, 6-2 in the quarter final to set up semi-final clash with Nepal's Kamal Thapa.
However, Kh Indrakumar of Manipur failed to reach the semi-final after he suffered a 1-6, 1-6 defeat by Kenny Houri of Nagaland in the quarter final.
