Riverlane takes on Wild Hogs in Phantu cup final on October 6

4: Riverlane Youth Club will take on Wild Hogs Football Club in the final of the 2nd Phantu Cup 2014 slated for October 6 at Maha Union Govt.Higher Secondary School, Japhou Ground.

Their hard fought success to the final came after winning the semi final match 1-0 with the host team LYCC-A 1-0 here today.

It was Oliver Hb (Jersey No.11) who in the last minute of the three minute extra time added shot pass through the goal from a closed range.

Even though both teams were seen putting hard efforts, they could not score each other and the game remained a dead lock till the last moment before the first goal by Oliver HB.

The day saw both players of the team in good spirit and well discipline that makes the match ended without any caution from the referees.

The final will be kicked off on October 6 following a grand closing ceremony that will have CNPO President Ws Kanral as Chief Guest among many other distinguished guest with many other interesting cultural items.
