Senapati district veteran football tournament quarterfinals set

Senapati, October 03 2024: Out of 19 teams participated in the 2nd edition of the Senapati District Veteran Football tournament 2024, eight teams have marched to the quarterfinals slated for Friday.

Katomei Area VFC emerged as winners and Raimai VFC as runners-up in Pool A, Arufii VFC claimed the top spot with Khyouchi VFC finishing second in Pool B, Makhrelui VFC secured first place and Karong Union VFC took second in Pool C, while Heudu VFC topped Pool D with Southern Naga VFC coming in second.

The quarterfinal matches scheduled for Friday will feature Katomei Area VFC against Karong Union VFC on the first ground, Arufii VFC against Southern Naga VFC on the second ground, Makhrelui VFC against Raimai VFC on the third ground, and Heudu VFC against Khyouchi VFC on the fourth ground.

The first match kicks off at 8 am on Friday.

The semifinals will be held on Saturday and the final is scheduled for Monday, October 7 .
