Tbl 2nd Division League : PATHAP FC top Group B to set up final date with KRC

Imphal, January 31 2022: PATHAP FC, Lilong rode on Arish Khan double to beat Yairipok FC 2-0 in a clash for the Group A pole position in the DFA Thoubal Second Division Football League tournament today.

With four of four wins in the group stage, PATHAP FC emerged Group B winners and eventually set up a final date with Group A winners, KRC.

Arish Khan opened the scoring for PATHAP FC in the 16th minute of the match and netted another in the 32nd minute to make it 2-0 .

As Yairipok FC failed to make the best of their scoring chances in the remainder of the game even after PATHAP FC lose Manjur on second yellow card in the 38th minute, the Lilong team cruise to 2-0 win and climb atop Group B .

Earlier, in a dead rubber match, YDA, Tentha win 1-0 over REFA thanks to Md Yunush goal in the 40th minute.

With the result, YDA finished third in Group B .
