Imphal, December 31 2018: WYC, Yumnam Khunou thumped OSA, Oinam by 2-0 goals in a Group A league match of the 13th N Balanand Memorial Second Division Football League 2018 being organised under the aegis of District Sports Association, Bishnupur at Mini Stadium Bishnupur, today.

WYC took a slender 1 -0 lead in the first half thanks to a goal by Ng Malemnganba early in the 5th minute.

The second half saw a stiff competition from both ends as the Oinam side were pushing hard for the equaliser while the Yumnam Khunou side were longing to extend the lead.

OSA's hope of levelling the score reduces as the match progressed and to their disappointment, Tomba of WYC slotted home the second goal during the stoppage time and gave his team a 2-0 victory.

AKSA, Kwakta will play ECHO, Bishnupur in the next Group-A league match at 8 am on January 2, 2019 .
