NMLSC thrashes PBYS in 11th Khagemba Trophy Football tourney

Imphal, January 29 2013: NMLSC, Ngariyan humiliated a goalless PBYS, Paona Keithel with 10 goals today's at the 11th Khagemba Trophy organised by Kyamgei Youth Pioneer Club (KPYC) at Kyamgei Maning Leikai, Imphal.

The whole match was dominated by NMLSC with some weak resistance from PBYS.

While NMLSC scored 10 goals, PBYS could not scored a single goal against their opponent even though they played the second half of the match with more coordination.

Despite their best efforts in the second half, they could not scored a single goal against NMLSC.

Ali of NMLSC scored four goals in the 5th, 7th, 8th and 10th minutes of the match and earned a hat trick.

His teammate Islam Rahman also scored two goals in the 26th and 34th minutes while Sahidur Rahaman, Amish, Moti and Mohamad scored one goal in the 32nd, 37th, 47th and 19th minutes of the match respectively.

Earlier, in the first match, SBL, Nongdam beat MSU, Canchipur 2-1 after a tough fight.

The two goals of SBL were scored by Tiken in the 22nd and 34th minutes while the lone goal of MSU was scored by Jayenta in the 40th minute of the match.
