XI Star play out 2-2 draw with MSFC in Ibudhou Nongshaba Football

Imphal, June 27 2018: Xl-Star and MSFC, Heingang shared equal point after a 2-2 in a league match of the ongoing 1 st State Level Ibudhou Nongshaba 7-A side Open Football Tournament 2018 at Karam Kangjeibung today.

It was a see-saw affair as both teams found their way to take lead before finishing the game in a 2-2 stalemate.

Jim handed XI Star a 1 -0 lead with a fine shot in the 7th minute but was equalised by Naoba of MSFC in the 19th minute.

MSFC were able to take a 2-1 lead when Shitanjit made a fine run into the box and unleashed a powerful shot past the custodian of XI Star in the 27th minute.

XI Star did a hard job to restore parity and it was the 40th minute that Anand came up to rescue his team and went into full time with 2 goals each side.

MPSC which did not showed up for another match against HNSC was scratched off the tournament.
