Squash Rackets C'ship : Tomba sets up final date with Shreeprakash

Imphal, May 26 2018: K Tomba will take on Shreeprakash in the men's final of the 4th State Level Sub-junior, Junior and Master and 6th Senior Squash Championship being organised under the supervision of Manipur Squash Rackets Association at Sainik Imphal Squash Rackets hall.

K Tomba will defeated E Bonix by 11-6, 11-5, 11-5 points in the first semi-final today to cruise into the final while Shreeprakash beat N Premjit 11-8, 11-6, 11-3 in the last semi-final match to set up final clash with K Tomba.

League round matches : K Tomba outlasted S Ashok 11-4, 11-4 while E Bonex beat Sreeprakash 14-12, 17-15 in an evenly contested match.

In another league round match, S Ashok subdued T Panmei in straight sets (11-8, 13-11) while E Bonex also downed T Panmei 11-3, 11-3 .

K Tomba pulled off another win over L Monoranjan in straight sets (11-9, 11-9) while E Bonex registered his third win over N Premjit in straight sets (11-7, 11-5) .

Sreeprakash secured his first win over lowly T Panmei by 2-0 sets (11-2, 11-4) while E Bonex displayed his superb form yet again beating S Ashok 11-1, 11-4 .

K Tomba registered another victory over N Premjit 11-5, 11-5 while Sreeprakash extended his winning momentum by outlasting S Ashok 11-6, 11-3 .

In the last match, N Premjit overpowered N Manoranjan 11-7, 11-7 .

Women's semifinals : Bushoriya K outclassed L Jaypreeti in straight sets (12-10, 11-1, 11-3) in the first semifinal match to set up a final clash with M Linthoingambi who beat Ng Nandita 11-0, 11-3, 11-0 in the second semifinal match.

Sreeprakash will take on L Manoranjan Roy in the men's Master final while Deepraj will face Suraj in the sub-junior boys' finals.
