Tikendrajit Memorial U-13 Boys Football : JA cruise into final with 5-0 thrashing of SWC

Imphal, June 25 2019: Juvenile Association, Kakching overwhelmed Social Welfare Club, Keirak by a huge 5-0 margin to book their place in the final of the 3rd Tikendrajit Memorial U-13 Boys Football tournament being organised by District Sports Association Kakching at its playground under the aegis of All Manipur Football Association.

Juvenile Association who reached the semi-finals with an easy sweeps at the league stage underlined their dominance yet again as they ease to a 5-0 win against the Keirak side with goals coming from Rishikanta, Rajiv, Nungthoi and Zaithleen and remains as title favourites so far.

Rishikanta put Juvenile ahead in the 13th minute before Rajiv slotted home the second in the 18th minute.

JA continued to dominate the proceeding as SWC did not show any intent for comeback and it was Nungthoi who added another in the 23rd minute to make it 3-0 till the break.

SWC were kept on their toes after the restart as well as JA forwards penetrated their defence line at will and Rishikanta rose again for his second in the 42nd minute before Zaithalen rounded off the scoring in the first minute of the additional time (70+1).DYA, Elangkhangpokpi will meet SAO in the second semi-final match on June 27 .
