Thokchom Tombi among 5 newly elected VPs of Ball Badminton Federation of India

Ball Badminton Association Manipur's secretary Thokchom Tombi has been elected as one of the five vice presidents of Ball Badminton Federation of India.
Tombi was elected as vice president for the term of four years along with four others recently on October 18 at a special general body meeting of Ball Badminton Federation of India during the 39th Sub Junior Ball Badminton Championship-2019 held in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
The National body consist on 1 president, 5 vice presidents, 1 general secretary, 5 joint secretaries and a treasurer, said a press release of Ball Badminton Association Manipur.
Ball Badminton Association Manipur also extended heartiest congratulation to Thokchom Tombi on being elected as the vice president.
Tombi is also first person from North East States to hold such a post after Dr Laiphrakpam Kumar, who is the current president of Ball Badminton Association Manipur, was elected as a joint secretary thirty years back.
The association also appreciated Yumnam Khemchand, Speaker, Manipur Legislative Association for being the chief patron of the body and helping the association go in the right direction.
Y Khemchand also attended the inaugural function of the 39th Sub Junior Ball Badminton Championship-2019 for boys and girls held from October 15 to 19, as chief guest, the release continued.
