Imphal, February 22 2020: Huyel Langlon Thang Ta Association, Manipur, under the aegis of Thang Ta Federation of India, is set to organise the 26th National Thang Ta Championship, 2020 from March 26 to 29 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.

Announcing the event at Manipur Press Club today, president of Huyel Langlon Thang Ta Association, Manipur, Huidrom Premkumar maintained that more than 700 thang-ta players and officials from 27 State Thang-Ta associations across India have confirmed their participation at the Thang Ta Championship.

Premkumar also sought contributions and co-operation from all sections of the society as a huge amount of money has been spent so far and more fund and sources will be required for successful organisation of the National event.

Premkumar on behalf of the organising committee, also requested to CSOs and public not to call any bandh or general strike that could hinder and affect such a big event.
