Uchekon emerge champion of Thongju Kendra Game's Hockey

Imphal, May 21 2015 : UYAC, Uchekon overcame SEYO Singjamei in the final of the 6 A Side Men's Hockey of 4th Thongju Kendra Games played at SYUC Ground, Uchekon Khunou on Thursday.

Rabikanta gave the lead to UYAC in 20th min which was equalized by Sumeshkanta of SEYO in 35th to the delight of SEYO supporters.

Priyokumar surprised SEYO with a stunner in 44th min and hand over the lead again to UYAC.

SEYO fought back to get the elusive goal but the strikers could not found the target till the end to the heartbreak of SEYO supporters.

UYAC, Uchekon proudly walk away with the 6 A Side Men's Hockey title.

Earlier, BPYC settled for the third place after hammering SYUC 7-3 in the third place match.

The final of Men's Open Football will be played on May 22 at SWC Ground, Khongman Atom Leirak at 3:00 pm while Cross Kendra Race will be run on May 24 at 7 in the morning.
