Hiyai FA kick off IE 3rd Divn League with 6-3 win against FUC

Imphal, December 18 2021: Nahakpam Apabi Memorial Third Division Football League Tournament organised by the Imphal East District Football Association kicked off today with the participation of 3 teams.

The opening match of the tournament being organised at YWC ground in Thambalkhong saw Hiyai Football Association, Luwangsangbam cruise to a 6-3 win against Friend's Union Club, Uyumpok.

Kh Amarjit shone in the match as he scored twice for Hiyai FA (37', 45') after Ng Bitan and Kh Sanamacha added a goal each in the 11th and 16th minute.

O Malem (60') and M Diya (80+2') also scored for the Luwangsangbam team while Dhanabir (9'), S Lamnganba (41') and Th Rohit (60') scored it for the FUC.

Hiyai FA will play Khaorui FC in the second match on December 21 at 1.30 pm .
