YDC (P), UPAA win in IE 1st Div Football League

Imphal, August 13, 2012: YDC (P) and UPAA beat their respective opponents to win today�s matches of the ongoing M Ibobi Memorial First Division Football League organised by the Imphal East District Football Association (IEDFA) at Football Practice Ground, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

The first match was played between DOAK and YDC (P) in which YDC (P) beat DOAK 2-1 after a tough fights.

However the first half showed some aggressive actions from YDC (P) players which turn out to be their savior when DOAK players began to shower a series of attacks in the second half.

The first half concluded 1-0 in favour of YWDC (P).

Later in the second half, both teams scored one goal each and the match ended with YDC (P) as winner.

Naocha came up with the first goal of YDC (P) in the 2nd minute while the second goal was scored in the 49th minute of the match by Naobi.

On the other hand the lone goal of DOAK was scored in the 66th minute by Boycha.

Manichandra of YDC (P) was issued a yellow card for his unsporting behaviour during the match.

Later today, a goalless SSC (P) was beaten by UPAA with 4 goals to win the match.

Th Kiran of UPAA scored three goals in the 15th, 58th and 78th minutes of the match while his teammate AK Pradupkumar scored one goal in the 75th minute of the match.

W Bijen of UPAA was issued a yellow card.
