Meira Club humiliate LHYC in Jiribam 2nd Div Football

Imphal, October 16 2015 : Meira Club, Chingdong Leikai humiliated LHYC, Lalpani by a margin of 6 goals to one in the ongoing 13th Ningthou Memorial 2nd Division Football League, organised by the All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA), today at Jiribam Government HS School playground.

A treble from Jameson in the 16th, 62nd and 70th minute, and strikes from M Arun, Nganthoi and Anthony in the 10th, 30th and 60th minute gave the winning goals to Meira Club.

On the other side, M Haokip found the lone goal of LHYC in the 44th minute.

In another group match today, Luthangsu's goal in the 51st minute helped JYC, Jairol Pokpi hold Zomi Club, Jiribam 1-1.Zomi Club's goal was scored by P Mung in the 27th minute.

Robinson of Zomi Club was booked with a yellow card during the match.
