Hockey Manipur to pay tribute to N Momon on July 18

Imphal, July 16 2022: Hockey Manipur has informed that the association is set to honour and pay floral tribute to its founding president and the then president of Manipur Women's Hockey Association, Ningthoujam Momon who passed away on July 12 .

The commemorative programme in honour of the former State player who also had groomed many National and International players during her lifetime, will be held at the office of Hockey Manipur at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium on July 18 from 8 am onwards, said Hockey Manipur in a statement.

Hockey Manipur also called upon her compatriots, well wishers and sports enthusiasts to attend the programme and join in paying respect to the late personality who had worked tirelessly towards developing the sports discipline in the State.
