State Arm Wrestling C'ship : EK emerge women's champions, MPSC clinch men's team title

Imphal, April 15 2018: EK GYM clinched the women's team championship title earning 95 points while MPSC settled for runners-up title earning 71 points whereas MPSC bagged the men's team championship title earning 174 points and Wangkhei High School settled for runners-up title earning 69 points in the 36th State Arm Wrestling Championship 2018 organised by Manipur Arm Wrestling Association at Lilong Chajing Mamang Leikai Heining Makhong Community Hall.

A total of 46 athletes (16 women and 30 men) from 10 units participated in this championship.

S Inao Devi of EK Gym and M Jeevan of MPSC clinched women's and men's champion of the champions' title respectively.

The closing ceremony of the championship was attended by Y Khemchand, Speaker Manipur Legislative Assembly, O Joy Singh, Chief Patrol, Manipur Arm Wrestling Association and L Sarat, President Manipur Arm Wrestling Association as dignitaries who also gave awat prizes to the winners and other participants.
