AR school gets new sports complex

Imphal, November 14 2013: As a present to the children on their day, Maj Gen Rajeev Chopra, IG AR(S) & Mrs Rashmi Chopra, President ARWWA, IGAR(S) inaugurated a Sports Complex at Assam Rifles Public School, Mantripukhri yesterday.

The sports complex can boast of being one of the finest and consists of a Football Field, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court & also an Athletics Track.

Sports and games are an essential facet for the overall development of children and these facilities shall go a long way in inculcating sportsmanship and shall provide an avenue for the students to hone their physical skills.

The complex was declared open with a friendly football match between two teams of ARPS, Mantripukhri.

The entire staff and students of the school conveyed their gratitude to IGAR(S) & President ARWWA and added that they were indeed glad for such a befitting gift on the occasion of Children's Day.
