Army sponsors NYC Cup tournament

Imphal, January 11 2018: Nambol Company Operating Base of 5 JAK RIF of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) sponsored Naorem Youth Club Cup Tournament which went underway from December 24 last year to January 7 at Nambol.

A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament and the final match was played between Naorem Makha Youth Club and Limapokpam Youth Club on 07 Jan 2018.Naorem Youth Club won the match and were declared as the winners of the tournament.

They were felicitated and provided with footballs as prizes by Company Commander of Nambol post.

The Army provided both financial and administrative support for smooth conduct of the tournament said a press note issued by PRO of IGAR (South) .
