TDC lifts IW 3rd Divn title

Imphal, November 10 2014: TDC Mayanglangjing defeated NCC by 2-1 and lifted the winner trophy of the Imphal West 3rd Division Football League, organized by Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA) at YWC Malom ground, today.

On the final match today, TDC opened the scoring through Meiteingamba in the 39th minute and led the scoring 1-0 at the first half.

In the very first minute of second half, L Helen scored the second and last goal of TDC and thus won the match.

The solitary goal of the NCC was scored by Kh Denny in the 65th minute.

Earlier, LFC Kanglatongbi thrashed FC Lamshang by 5-2 goals in a third position match.

It was in the first minute where FC Lamshang setup the first goal of the match through Suntiminlal who scored the second goal of the Lamshang in the 40th minute.

Tithuingam's double strikes and Tasiwangbou's quick double goals powered the LFC Kanglatongbi to emerge the big margin win over FC Lamshang.

The two goals of Tithuingam came in the 8th and 53rd minute while Tawiwangbou scored his two goals in the 29th and 35th minute of the match.

Mathilunbou also contributed one goal in the 51st minute to occupy the third place of the third division league.
