Wushu Association of Manipur announces State team

Imphal, September 10 2018: Wushu Association of Manipur has released the names of players which will represent Manipur in various events at the Senior National Wushu Championship which will be held in Shillong from October 10 to 15.The names of the players who will represent Manipur in the Sanshou events are:
Men: Bimolchand (below 48 kg), James (below 52 kg), Premananda (below 56 kg), Beishnop (below 60 kg), Sushil (below 65 kg),, Sekharjit (below 70 kg), Lalit (below 75 kg), Jodajit (below 80 kg), Malemnganba (below 85 kg) and Indrakumar (below 90 kg) .

Women : P Sakuntala (below 45 kg), L Kalpana (below 48 kg), N Chaoba (below 52 kg), O Bidyapati (below 56 kg), N Roshibina (below 60 kg), N Kurijeshwori (below 65 kg) and Kh Menaka (below 70 kg) .

The athletes who will represent Manipur in the Taolu events are: M Marshal Singh, M Suraj Singh, G Subhson Singh, Ng Ayapana Toshibala, Y Sapana, M Punshiba Meitei, A Sanathoibi Chanu, T Arita Devi, Ch Gyaneshwor and Sanatombi Chanu.

3rd set players who will take part in the taolu events are H Ramananda Meitei, Y Ananda Singh, Y Naresh, N Pushpa, L Bijeshori and Y Nirmala while L Jenny Devi, Kh Roshni Devi, P Thoibi Devi and Romen Singh will take part in the traditional events.
