Mangal FA-A, Lamlai FC script huge wins in 4th Sabungkhok Cup

Imphal, January 09 2019: Mangal FA-A thrashed YSWC-B 5-0 while Lamlai FC Lamlai FC hammered Ingotombi FC 6-0 in today's league matches of the 4th Sabungkhok Cup 2019 being organise by Youth and Student Welfare Club, Sabungkhok at Sabungkhok Kangjeibung.

Ashokumar FC, Pabung FC also emerged victorious in other league matches of the day while NPYC, Chana and YUC Yaingangpokpi played out a 1-1 draw (20th match) .

In the 17th match of the tournament, an own goal by Kh Naocha put Mangal FA-A in the front-foot while H Kiran (16', 30+2'), Toper (24') and Lenin (30+1) sustained the goal rest to help Mangal FA-A rout the Sabungkhok side 5-0.In the 18th match of the tournament, Pabung FC rode on Kumar (26') and Anthony (39') to overturn the Mangal FA-B early lead through a goal scored by Tomba in the 17th minute and sealed a 2-1 win.

The 19th match and the day's third, Sudhir scored two goals (35', 40') after Naoba found the opener in the 32nd minute to give Ashokumar a comfortable 3-0 win against PYDC, Pungdongbam.

In the last match of the day, Dhananjoy connected to goal thrice (30', 39', 39') and Amarjit netted twice (33', 38') to hand Lamlai FC a landslide 6-0 win against Ingotombi FC .

Biju registered the other goal for Lamlai FC in the 36th minute of the match.
