TRYVC post convincing win in E Pishak Memorial Volleyball

Imphal, February 08 2021: UWPWC, Uchiwa; TRYVC, Ukhrul and YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei posted win in their respective group league matches of the 3rd Elangbam Pishak Singh Memorial State Level Men's Open Volleyball tournament which began yesterday.

In the first Group A league match of the tournament, UWPWC edged past YDA, Phoubakchao by 3-2 sets.

It was a closely contested match as YDA came back twice before the Uchiwa side dominated in the deciding side to finish the game 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-6 .

Meanwhile in the Group B league match, TRYVC overwhelmed HVA, Heikrujam 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-21) .

Meanwhile YPA, Hiyanglam Hiranmei knocked out YDA from the tournament with a 25-19, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-9 beating.

YPA will take on UWPWC in the last Group A league match tomorrow at 1.30 pm while YMDO Heirangoithong will play TRYVC in a Group B League match later at 2.30 pm .
