Jiribam, September 07 2019: PFC, Phaitol thumped Lalpani SC by 7-0 in Group A fixture while BBA and Sonapur GPSA played out a 2-2 draw in Group C league match in the ongoing 16th Chandam Inunganbi Memorial Mini Boys (U-13) Football League tournament, 2019, today.

Lemonshang exhibited outstanding performances in the first match of the day as he scored 3 goals alone (41st, 50th and 67th minute) of the game to present PFC a big 7-0 win over Lalpani SC.

Thanginlen (43'); Haochinlen (55'); Kapminlan (64') and Kaplenchuang (65') also contributed a goal each for PFC and completed the 7-0 rout of Lalpani SC.

Meanwhile in the second match, Ekson and Sakir Atom netted a goal each respectively in the 3rd and 24 minute of the match to give Sonapur GPSA an early 2-0 lead over BBA, however, an own goal from their team-mate Habjur Rahman in the 31st minute cost heavy as that one blunder helped BBA to half the deficit.

A team effort of BBA proved fruitful as Husain found the equaliser in the 67th minute to settle the match in a 2-2 draw.

SBNYC will play Sunrise Club in Group B fixture tomorrow.
