KSC beat XI Star SU 2-1 in Winners' Cup semi-final first leg

Imphal, January 07 2022: KSC, Kangpokpi beat visitors XI Star SU by 2-1 goals in the semi-final first leg of the 25th Thangjam Birachandra-Maipakpi Memorial Winners' Cup 2021-22 at KSC ground yesterday.

Ginminthang opened the scoring for KSC in the 37th minute only to be equalised by Themyui of XI-Star SU in the 39th minute.

After settling the first half 1-1, the two sides were in constant search for the winner until Seineo Kuki struck late in the 89th minute giving no time for the Imphal East team to recover.

XI-Star SU will host KSC in the reverse fixture tomorrow at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong from 12.15 pm.

UBFC, Ukhrul hosts PAMYAL, Imphal West in the semi-final first leg at the same venue (Artificial Turf) from 1.30 pm .
