SWC edge past YVO 3-2 in IE 2nd Divn Football League

Imphal, December 06 2021: SWC, Khongman held their nerves to beat YVO, Huikap 3-2 in a keenly contested Group B league match of the ongoing Koijam Madhop Memorial Second Division Football League Tournament at YWC, Thambalkhong playground.

Omesh scored twice in the opening half (5', 18') to hand SWC a comfortable 2-0 lead till the break but YVO bounced back stronger after the break and pulled level via two quick goals by Roshan (53') and Mustofa (55').SWC, however, converted a last ditch effort deep into the stoppage time (60+1') to a goal through Donando to salvage the nervy 3-2 victory.
