Medal haul for Manipur team in Karate Championship

A Karate team from Manipur that participated in the recently concluded 13th All India Ryushinkan Shito Ryu Karate Championship held at Subaryalu Reddiar Mahal, 8A/1 Bharathi Salai Road, Cuddalre near Pondicherry brought home not just many medals, but also won the second runners up title.
Including 14 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals, Manipur team bagged altogether 40 medals in various events of the championships.
Name of the players who won medals in the championships are N.Lanthoiba Singh (gold), L.Inaoba Singh (bronze), S.Surjit Singh (bronze), P.Manglemjao Singh (gold), Zhonio K.Kayina (bronze), Jinat Moirangthem (silver), RK.
Bikramjit Singh (gold), Vicky Rai (bronze), RS.Tokho George (bronze), RS.Tokho George (bronze), K.Gambhi Singh (bronze) in the men's group in the National level competitions while AK.
Omita Devi (gold), M.Linthoi Chanu (1 silver and one bronze), L.Pushpa (silver), L.Sofiya (silver), H.Dayani Devi (silver), M.Bijeya Devi (silver), L.Geetanjali Devi (bronze), SM.
Taj Banu (bronze), M.Soniya Devi (bronze), K.Kunjarani Devi (bronze) and S.Kananbala Devi (silver) in the women's group.
Moreover, in the international level competition of of men's group, N.Lanthoiba Singh, L.Inaoba Singh and S.Surjit Singh won one gold medal each while N.Vivekananda Singh, Zhonio K.Kayina, Jinat Moirangthem, Ch.
Ninghtem Singh, T.Bishan, Vicky Rai and K.Gambhir Singh managed to clinch one bronze medal each.
In the international level female group, L.Pushpa Devi bagged 1 gold medal, M Bijeya Devi won one silver medal while AK.
Omita, H.Dayani Devi, L.Jibanlata Devi, M.Soniya Devi and S.Kananbala Devi secured one bronze each for Manipur.
