G-5 Heirok, A² Patsoi emerge victorious in TKWA Trophy

Imphal, June 03 2019: G-5 Heirok thrashed FC 7 MR, Khabeisoi by 3-0 goals while A² Patsoi got the better of TQC, Tentha by 4-2 goals in today's matches of the ongoing TKWA Trophy.

The first match of the day saw G-5 dominate both the possession and outnumber their rivals in terms of scoring chances to go for a clean 3-0 finish.

Sital gave G-5 a 1 -0 lead in the first half with a fine goal in the 24th minute of the match as FC 7 MR produced a fine opposition in the earlier proceeding and it were Oken and Arun who led the attack in the second half and struck one goal each in the 28th and the 31st minute to finish the game 3-0.Meanwhile in the second match, Tondonba scored twice, one goal each side of the break to hand A² Patsoi a 4-2 edge over TQC.

Inaoton put A² Patsoi ahead in the 11th minute but Juliet of TQC pulled level in the 24th minute before Tondonba came up to help A² regain the lead the very next minute.

A2 enjoyed a two goal cushion when Nonganba banged in the teams third goal in the 33rd minute.

TQC's Rahaman drew leve in the 36th minute but Tondonba rose again for his second and made it 4-2 at the end.
