Jeet Kune Do team finish 2nd runners up

A team of Jeet Kune-Do Association of Manipur claimed 19 medals including 17 gold and 2 silver medals to finish second runners up at National Martial Arts Games which was held from April 26 to 28 at Maharishi Dayanand University, Sports Complex, Rohtak.
The players whc bagged gold medals at the said championship are Ch Jenil (-14 years; -42 kg); S Premananda (-14 years; -54 kg); S Jackson (-14 years; -48 kg); Omnivas Oinam (-14 years; +54 kg); Nimreiso Khodang (-19 years; -60 kg); A Haridas Meitei (+19 years; -55 kg; Full Contact); Ningoleima Chanu (-14 years; -34 kg); M Loyangamba (-19 years; golds in hand form, short weapon and long weapon); S Sanjita Devi (-14 years; -40 kg); AK Omita Devi (-14 years; -46 kg); L Abethoi Chanu (-14 years; +49 kg); H Dayani Devi (-14 years; -55 kg); I Indira Devi (-19 years; -45 kg), Priya Loitam (+19 years; -65 kg) and SM Tajbanu (+19 years; -60 kg) while Shimnganing M (+19 years; -6- kg) and Amarjit Seram (-17 years; -53 kg) finished with the silver medals.
The team were led by SM Tajbanu as female coach, L Basanta Singh as team coach and Th Achou Singh as team manager.
