Sinlon Club (B), RYC (B) in Jiri futsal tourney semifinals

Jiribam, August 02 2024: Sinlon Club (B) and RYC (B) secured semifinal berths of the 1st Mazarun Bibi Memorial Senior Futsal Tournament 2024, organised by All Jiribam Sports Association (AJSA).

Sinlon Club (B) beat Khasi Youth Club 5-2 in the first quarterfinal match played at Jiribam Higher Secondary School on Friday.

A Chakri (15, 20, 42) scored a hat-trick while Rahul Das (14, 18) netted a double in Sinlon Club's quarterfinal victory.

For Khasi Youth Club, Jona Shadong (11) amadi Limon Suchen (19) scored a goal each.

In the second quarterfinal match, RYC (B) registered a 4-2 win over UPC Uchathol.

Rengu Zone (1, 7, 22) netted a treble and Robinson Gangmei (35) contributed one to help RYC reach the semifinals.

UPC scored their goals through Newton Yanglem (18) and Zetlee (36) .

The remaining quarterfinal matches will be held on August 5, with Digli NC playing against LEC Babupara and LFC taking on GPSA (A) .
