CCYC, Chengkhu FC roll into KAPAAM Cup next round

Imphal, July 02 2019: Chandel Christian YC beat UBSA, Mantak 1-0 and Chengkhu FC dumped out FC Kapaam-B by 7-6 goals via penalties today to make it to the next round of the ongoing 3rd Kapaam Cup organised by Kapaam Development Club at Kaapm Public Ground.

Chandel Christian YC earned the next round berth today with the help of Thumson who scored the winner lately in the 85th minute of the match.

Meanwhile in another clash, Ravindra (4') and Mongampha (32') gave FC Kapaam-B the early advantage but Chengkhu FC rode on goals by Bunghong (60', 78') to pull level during normal time before edging the former 7-6 on penalties.

In the shoot-out, only Rungden, Johnson, Alfred and Gouro found the net for the Kapaam side while Chengkhu FC's Bunghong, Koko, Renghong, Momo and Rengshel slotted home the ball to set up the win.
